days like these should be dime a dozen;

this week i’ve tried to be more loving && i’ve also felt more loved!!
(latter is not the result of the former.)

-pastamania @ parkway with b,
-brought b aston’s for dinner, and camped out in a treehouse,
-went to meet my mum at bukit timah food centre with one of my aunts,
-AND TODAY! went to meet another of my aunts for dinner and had a really good talk with her about the future, about trusting God, and basically just catching up in general.

i think the people around me do love and care for me alot, even though i don’t always realize it!!

oh and also lunch with b!!
FINALLY, POST-CTS CELEBRATIONS !!
watched ice age 3 which was heartwarming & really sweeeeet
then pepper lunch !! and b sent me back to school

then dinner at harbourfront with my aunt !
and then came home to a surprise email from dmzxz with NEW SONGS TO LISTEN TO AWESOME OR NOT. and he also brought me more good news

for the FINAL moments of the day:
- i won 12,000 neopoints on neopets in the span of 2 mins!!
- mum decided to suddenly give me extra allowance
- dad came home (!!) WITH REESE’S CUPS AND TIMTAMS OMG!!!
(totally gonna  grow FAT ttm but wtv its worth is i <3 chocolate!!)

LIFE IS V. V. V. GOOD! PRAISE THE LORD!

it’s time to try;

i’m starting to learn to be contented with life!
or rather, recently, i feel like i’m living a very fulfilling life out of school.

feel loved and happy and all things positive!!
just not getting enough sleep as always.

but still. other than morning grogginess (eg. falling asleep on the bus this morning and almost missing my stop), life has been good.

sermon today was about mission work and how its important for us to do mission work and i think, honestly, that’s the only thing i can say God has put a burden in my heart to do. to some day go set up IJ schools. i’ve felt the need to do it since like… 14? and i guess its the best i can do to pass on all that being in an IJ school has passed on to me!

ANYWAY, that aside, spent the rest of the day with my best friends FOREVERRRRRRRRRR estella and graceeeeeeee

and then one day, one magic day he passed my way.

omgosh today was another slackfest!
woke up around noon but somehow i can’t sleep for 12 hours straight anymore. i’ll wake up in between and take some time to get back to sleep. i think it’s either stress, or my body has been so sleep-deprived it’s unable to sleep for long hours :/

brunch was cereal with soya bean milk and finishing up a bottle of peanut butter + grape jam which i added milo mix to
my cat is really adorable!

went out in the evening to marina square for dinner at changing appetites!

the kind waiter offered to take the photograph for us since we were struggling to take a good photo HAHA.
dinner was so so good! student meal came with MUSHROOM SOUP that was pretty good, then we had one-for-one sundaes!! super full & contented now HAHA.

AND THEN i went to hula&co. to do some shopping, spent an hour inside trying to find something that wasn’t too small and wound up with 2 dresses of a decent length!! and 50 bucks poorer. but quite worth it so i’m quite pleased i have 2 new dresses to add to my collection

i’ve spent a whopping $150 in the past few days, $130 if you exclude food.
GSS madness.
and now it’s time to control my spending for the rest of this month!

ahh. back to school tomorrow. i’m starting to dread waking up early :X

HAVEN’T HAD SUCH A GREAT DAY IN AGES

went to visit b’s church today! i really love it how his church is just down the road from mine, which makes it kinda near my house too, and i totally do not have the excuse to say “oh no i lost my way” because pasir panjang is kinda like a straight road chockful of landmarks.

ANYWAY bible study class was good – i realize that i’ve missed out on alot.
like sunday school. that basically most people around me have been through.
but anyway. lunch after that was good too, then went cake shopping for mother’s day!!
(and we picked up a cake for ourselves too because i kinda really love cake. HAHA.)

then went to surprise my mum!!
and i think she was quite happy
came home, completely and utterly worn out and now i shall go SLEEP.

day late friend is haunting. haunting me.
the acoustic version (can’t understand why a certain someone refuses to listen to it! it’s so good!) is so.. mellow. sad. melancholy. honest.
and the original is more upbeat. but it’s got quirks too. that make it interesting to listen to.

anyway!! this week i’ve been spending alot of money on food!!
or rather, i’ve actually been eating ALOT.
(oh dear.)

am abit annoyed though. shirts are abit too long, and although fitting is good, fitting around the hips for people like me with humongous hips is bad bad bad.
plus printing this time leaves very much to be desired.
i am slightly disappointed but my shirts are really nice so i guess i am still quite happy!!
especially since they are finally here!
(i can only blame myself for being fat.)

okay but still. i can’t wait to wear my new shirts!! threadless plusss stuff from vietnam HAHA. oh dear i think i have been shopping too much.
was tempted to  buy this billabong wallet today but i think i’ve been spending too much lately and i very much like my current wallet even though its (more than just) abit dirty.

ahwell. tonight i shall attempt (for once) to do my econs homework.

there’s so many “firsts” for me – PPH is the first church i’ve gone consistently for, last year was my first christmas, this is my first easter spent in church and i’m starting to realize that there’s more to life than sleeping in on such holidays and spending the rest of the day tussling with crowds along orchard road, shopping.

the past few days have been absolutely awesome.
i’ve been spending a considerable amount of time in church, hanging out with people from church, which i’m really, really glad for
also, have been hanging out with christians when i’m not in church which is definitely the right way to go

today i have managed to juggle many things, all in one day, and it hasn’t even been tough, it just… happened. i really thank God for that, because with this ability to multi-task without stuff clashing makes life so, so much better for me

i am contented, blissful, happy, grateful.
and most of all, Thankful.
i thank God, for without Him i would be nothing and i could do nothing either.
He is my strength, my comfort, my deliverer – the ever-living God.

i seem to be saying that alot lately, but really! mostly, i’m happy. very happy.
and excited. yesyes.
and trying to plan surprises without letting the cat out of the bag – something i am super, super terrible at.
i can see myself accidentally blurting out the surprise which would make me really annoyed since i’ve tried so hard NOT TO.

okay but in other news!
i am highly contented.
even though today i went through a few crises – the fat legs crisis cos i looked at yesterday’s recordings and thought my legs looked abit like tree trunks, the big hips crisis cos my skirt was a little tight, and the general i am fat crisis cos i was trying to find an excuse to avoid eating.

however, i have been eating alot today.
breakfast was chocolate at home, plus a nice bowl of noodles in school.
lunch was caifan, with extra rice and even the aunty remembers me for adding more rice HAHA.
dinner was THE BEST! went out with lavania and paveta to IKEA and had a huuuuuugeee meal, and the bill came up to less than 12 bucks.
it was meatballs plus spaghetti plus burger plus fries THEN after that i topped it off with a hotdog.
YUMYUM. no more donut cravings, i’m really contented with my ikea meatballs + hotdogs

HAPPYHAPPY.
tomorrow is gonna be a GOOD DAY. i can feel it already.
especially since tomorrow brings the prospect of…
