i’ll follow you into the dark.

i really shouldn’t be up so late but lately i haven’t been keeping track of the time.
BUT when the new week begins i will
-start studying for SATs. or rather, preparing cos i don’t think you can really study for it per se.
-pack my room
-clear up the mess that i’ve made in the house

dad’s strict orders are that my end-of-year trip to malaysia with my friends is a no-go unless i clear up the room and the house. i think even if i get an SAT score >2300, an untidy house will deny me the break i deserve.

although THE PAST FOUR DAYS HAVE BEEN SO INCREDIBLY AWESOME, ONBOARD THE STAR CRUISE LIBRA! so grateful to my aunt who brought me there. it was… like whoa.

-watched angels and demons
-lunch + dinner + supper, all with soup + appetizers + main course + dessert and i’m SUCHA PIG, i either had 2 rounds of appetizers (cos its served buffet format) and 2 rounds of dessert OR i had 2 main courses. totally insane right? and i could still eat after that.
-the most amazing dance performances!
-the funny, witty hosts!
-THE BEST PART IS THE SEA BREEZE ON THE DECK. TO BE IN THE OPEN SEA. no phone reception, no annoying noises, no buildings just the sun (or the moon), the sky and the sea and the breeze, OH THE BREEZE!

i will never forget this trip for as long as i live. and i will never, ever forget how the wind brushed every single hair on my arm and lifted my soul. it was so amazing. there was a slight drizzle and i just stood there and let the wind sway me…

every single hour was packed with some activity or another!
and the earliest i slept was like, 2 am?

wore all my nice dresses, including a new maxi dress (present from aunt!) which suits me to a T, and saw people in really nice dresses too. there’s a lemon one i was eyeing, for the colour, and another lady who wore dresses that i thought were my style. i wouldn’t mind having her wardrobe except that she’s about 2 or 3 sizes bigger than me!

currently reading pride and prejudice and doing alot of sudokus. life is good, PTL!

i didn’t want to come back to singapore, but i am back here and well. life looks exciting, shopping and movie tomorrow

i was blog hopping and saw fer’s blog about how she’d like a hello kitty house & all the relevant accessories -

considering how i am currently sweating like mad from listening to lady gaga’s bad romance approxx half a dozen times and dancing along to it, i think my future house MUST HAVE A DANCE STUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and of course if i’m rich enough, a band room too.

God is sovereign over everything & although times are tough, i can truly testify that God does not test you beyond what you can take. today i felt quite disappointed about my math, but something big just happened to cheer me up immensely, and i now feel like i’ve got the strength to go on…

yesterday i tried to blog but ended up not being able to blog because the post didn’t register. anyway -

past few days have been pretty much great!! (with the exception of last night)

-END OF PRELIMS!! no more school based exams yay.
-started a tumblr account (http://whirlwindromances.tumblr.com/)
-i love tumblr! but wordpress kinda rocks too so yeah. not entirely gonna move. yet. not that i’m going to be doing much on either end.
-MOVIE MARATHON + stayover! which was really really really enjoyable and actually has been the highlight of my post-exam activities we watched transformers one and two in one single night HAHAHA transformers was good but the second one started to stretch the limits of my imagination already. OHH and we consumed super. alot. of. rubbish. chips and one entire pint of ice cream oh dear but pukka icecream is actually good. (i’ve been going there SUPER OFTEN HAHA) or at least, i like it. looking forward to more of such insanely good times after As
-was interviewed for something which was quite fun!! good dinner (first oktoberfest dinner, platter of bratwurst and other german stuff was so good) ++ sticky chewy chocolate sundae from swenson’s for dessert
-haven’t been sleeping enough, have been bumming around too much, NEED TO START APPLYING TO UK (!!) and so i shall start. tonight.

meanwhile, i shall be off for youth soon. haven’t gone in weeks ‘cos of tuition.

TODAY WAS TOTALLY THE AWESUMZ!!

okay so i had an immense amount of trouble WAKING UP and i ended up late for church becoz church service has now been moved 1 hour earlier
i should be ashamed of myself, really BUT next week i will try to be on time!! :/

and thenz went out for a super long lunch with church people!! ikea meatballs are awesome and the company was just hilarious haha i <3 my church people. they’re all so nice even though sometimes i still feel abit like a stranger cos they’ve all grown up with each other and i’m this thing that just dropped in quite recently.

hopefully the next time i go to ikea they have my favv soup! love ikea soup, and the wholemeal/chunky kinda bread that comes with it.

went to vivooooo! basil just happened to be there with other people but joined me to go shopping for some stuff eg. dividers! and we managed to find some at pageone. i’m gonna be rather annoyed if i find nicer looking ones at kino tomorrow though BUT NEVERMIND!!

then went to macs and decided to read my history notes (!!), spent like OVER THREE HOURS on one set but at least i’m done with it :/ history is one subject that i just seem to spend so much time on but i still do badly for

TOMORROW … MATH COMES BACK. I AM DREADING IT. DREADING DREADING.
this is probably the only kind of suspense that i like, prefer?
better not to know

on the brighter side!! finished studying about 9, went down to swissbake at about 9? and i was really annoyed cos my favourite quiche and pies were ALL GONE so i bought some chocolate thing, and some curry puff instead. i think i stole one of the chocolate things lavania was eyeing (HAHA SORRY MATE!) but it was the first time i saw that there were actually any chocolate things left!

and then while i was paying, guess who should come along but dear ol’ B
who came down to send me home

today has been a v.v. happy day although it turned out entirely different from the day i planned out when i started my day today – but unexpected is good, once in a while!!

SCHOOL IN LIKE, 8.5 HOURS?? MATH LESSON IN 9 HOURS.
i shall think about how awesome today has been

gentings was AWESOME TO THE MAX I TELL YOU.

i thought turnning 17 was cool enough, i think 18 is PWNAGE. srsly!!
all the lovely birthday presents and bashes AND NOW,
the past few days in gentings with my dear aunty (who isn’t really related to me, but just someone who might care for me most in the entire world, and definitely loves me alot and isn’t afraid to show it) were just SO SO GOOD.

i am super recharged and rar-ing to go now. i am so excited about my future!!
i am so sure that i am going to enjoy myself, even though i’m not THAT sure about what i want to do BUT i’m confident that i’ll find my way, somehow.
right now, i’m tending towards being a lit teacher.

i’ll grit my teeth and find some love in poetry.
(because i am such a ne’er do well and a good-for-nothing, there are few subjects that i CAN do, even fewer that i WANT to do, and trying to match “can”, “want” along with the teaching scholarship i am aiming for isn’t that easy. it ends up with doing law and hoping to get some scholarship from somewhere to do it.)

i love love love my aunt she’s fascinating and interesting and the most wonderful person to be with! i was really sad to have to leave gentings! i saw the most awesome things while i was there!!!! cable car ride, went to the temple and the statues are all so pretty (yes, as much as i don’t really like temples, this one was in the mountains and FULL OF FRESH AIR and funny statues!), birthdayy lunch buffet + cake!, went to some JEWEL exhibition and OMGOSH soooo nice!!, and then THE FOUNDER OF GENTINGS – is really a visionary.

just think about it. in the 1970s, where technology was primitive, he thought about inventing a place in the hills/mountains for  people to 1. enjoy the forest and 2. escape the gruelling heat of the city. HOW SMART! and he didn’t believe that it was “impossible” although everyone laughed at him for his dream of a hotel in the clouds.

but he had the last laugh. ITS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. with such fresh air and OH!!
really, the experience of a lifetime. but not just the scenery and the things to do, but good company, made all the difference

so although i haven’t studied for the past 3 days and i kind of realize that i might really be very screwed i’m just totally like whatever.
i’ll just try my best and trust that God is in control.

oh! and darling B came to pick me up from golden mile complex and send me home!!
which saved me from lugging my not-so-small luggage all the way home! and made me quite a happy girl

BACK TO STUDYING FULL STEAM TOMORROW!!

its such an odd thing to say but i actually enjoy studying and i’m looking forward to just spending my days studying. i guess its because i do selective studying, and only do stuff i like :S ahwell. and i buy myself chocolate. lots of it. i just bought bubblegum with hershey flavour HAHAH. choco-maniac TTM!

in about 8 hours time i will be OFF to enjoy myself in genting highlangs for 3 days and 2 nights!

esther also passed me my birthday present PLUS belated christmas present – cool post-its (the kind where you fill in boxes and tick stuff, not blank ones!) and a notebook (decorated by her!) !!! awesomeness
on another note, lavania also passed me my birthday present AND!! its socks PLUS lots of good food hehe.

i like… letters and practical presents!! clocks included. HAHA.
this year i’ve had awfully good presents!!

next birthday present coming up… trip to gentings from sunday-tuesday with my aunt!!

today was the <3!

18th has been SUCH A BLAST!! unbelievably good.
belated celebrations are just as awesome as actual day celebrations hohoho.
less magic but still fun!

went shopping with mum in the morning, xinwang hongkong cafe for lunch, was really good bonding time with mum!
and as usual i wanted to DIE becoz all the dresses were HIDEOUSLY short and mum just made things worse because the dresses were SO NOT short for her but like, not her type. grrr.

THEN! met B at marina!! epic phail at trying to study together AHAHAHA. sucks to be us. dinner at crystal jade. the noodles were really goooooooooddd omggg and xiaolongbao also!

not so good – the realization that i now have trouble eating!! its quite bad. because i’ve been sick so my food intake decreased and i lost alot of weight last week. and i’ve become a slower eater than before OH DEAR my ankles now look horrid. after dinner we were shopping for pumps andd its just awful to look at my legs in the mirror now omg. for the first time in a lowng time i actually feel that i might really be too skinny.

okay but after thatttt we had CAKEEEEEE and being absolutely awesome and the best boy in the world omgoshhhhh B somehow managed to get the guy to bring the cake to the table with like, a candle on it. and then B sang me a birthday song and i almost cried cos i was so touched HAHA dumb right BUT YES.
